High above the city, where skyline meets sky, an ethereal dance unfolds—one of fire, water, and light. The Fire Fountains at The Confidential’s 29th-floor Olympic View Deck are more than an installation; they are a living expression of the elements in motion. Designed by Kim David Hall & Wynia Lang of Positron Arts, this striking piece transforms the rooftop into a stage where nature and design ignite in perfect harmony.
At dusk, twin 6-foot-tall glass cylinders stand sentinel over the terrace, their surfaces catching the last golden light of day. Inside, water swirls, a quiet prelude to the brilliance about to unfold. Then, a flicker—a tendril of fire rises, spiraling in hypnotic ascent. The flames shift and breathe, escaping into the night in an ever-changing, mesmerizing display.
This is art that moves, evolves, and invites connection. The Fire Fountains frame a central concrete table, creating a space where conversations flow as effortlessly as the flames. A toast under the stars, a whispered secret by firelight, a stolen moment of stillness—this is a gathering place unlike any other.
